Kid Cudi - “No One Believes Me” | New Music/Official Music Video
Despite being hard at work on an upcoming mix tape, a new album and HBO’s How to Make It in America, Cudi dons fangs for the video of “No One Believes Me,” a song that will be featured on the remake of 80s cult-classic Fright Night. He explained to MTV:
“I kind of wrote to the original “Fright Night” and I wanted to stay true to the plot and the story…I kind of portray a Charlie-like character from the movie. The only difference is I’m a vampire and I don’t like it too much. I’m seeing all these murderous things happening around me and I’m totally unfazed and numb to all of it.”
The “Man On The Moon” walks through a silent neighbourhood singing the following bone-chilling lines while murderous bloodsuckers lurk in the dark:
“have you ever felt,
something evil,
lurking around,
the moon is full,
the streets are empty,
shadows cover me down,
you can’t call it,
you can’t shake the feeling,
quiet do not make a sound,
but the wind seems to speak,
something’s here in the room with me.”As a vampire himself, he ultimatly decides to meet the sunlight himself as the morning comes.
I guess vampirism has a place in hip hop too!
